Stream URL handling

The public testing tool processes stream URLs in the browser. It does not intentionally upload, store or persist user-entered stream URLs. Share links and embed codes place the stream URL in the page URL, so avoid using them with private tokens.

Browser requests

When you test a stream, your browser may request that stream directly from the source server. The source server may see your IP address, browser metadata and request headers according to normal web behavior.

Future account features

The starterkit keeps authentication and payment infrastructure for future paid features. Those features are not required for the first public tester experience.
