Service scope

Video Stream Tester is a browser-based compatibility and diagnostics tool. It can attempt playback for browser-compatible streams and explain why protocols such as RTSP, RTMP and SRT require server-side conversion.

No universal playback promise

Playback depends on browser capabilities, CORS, mixed content policy, MIME type, codec support, network access and source availability. H.265/HEVC support varies by browser, operating system and hardware.

Acceptable use

Use the tool only with stream URLs you are authorized to test. Do not use it to bypass access controls, probe private systems without permission, or distribute confidential stream addresses.
